Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern use of the PLATE³ website and restaurant digital-menu services. By submitting information or content to PLATE³ or using a PLATE³ restaurant menu page, you agree to these terms.

1. The PLATE³ service

PLATE³ provides digital restaurant-menu functionality, including menu hosting, 2D menu presentation, restaurant search, and interactive 3D/AR dish experiences. Features may change as the service develops.

2. Restaurant information

Restaurants are responsible for ensuring that submitted names, addresses, phone numbers, menu details, prices, descriptions, links and other information are accurate and up to date. PLATE³ may format submitted information for display but does not guarantee that restaurant-provided information is complete or error-free.

3. Uploaded content and permissions

You must have the necessary rights, licences or permissions to upload and use any menu, photograph, logo, artwork, trademark, text or other material submitted to PLATE³. You must not upload content that infringes another person's intellectual-property, privacy or other legal rights.

By submitting content, you grant PLATE³ a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to store, reproduce, resize, format, process, host, display and technically transform that content as reasonably necessary to provide and promote the requested PLATE³ service. This includes processing food photographs for 3D/AR presentation.

4. 3D and AR models

PLATE³ may create or arrange the creation of 3D representations from photographs or other restaurant-provided material. Visual results can vary depending on the quality, quantity and angle of the source images. A 3D/AR representation is a digital presentation and is not a guarantee that a physical dish will look exactly the same.

5. Third-party services and links

PLATE³ may display links to third-party services such as Zomato, Swiggy, maps, hosting infrastructure or other external services. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and policies. PLATE³ does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their availability, content or practices.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use PLATE³ to upload unlawful, fraudulent, malicious, defamatory or infringing material; attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or its infrastructure; interfere with the operation or security of the website; or use the service in a way that violates applicable law.

7. Intellectual property

PLATE³'s website design, software, branding, layout and original service materials are owned by or licensed to PLATE³ unless otherwise stated. Restaurant-owned content remains subject to the restaurant's rights and the permissions granted under these terms.

8. Availability and changes

PLATE³ may add, modify, suspend or discontinue features, pages or parts of the service. We aim to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, infrastructure issues, security events and third-party outages may affect availability.

9. Removal and termination

PLATE³ may restrict, suspend or remove a restaurant page or submitted content where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, infringement concerns, misuse of the service or operational reasons. Restaurants may request correction or removal by contacting platecubemailbox@gmail.com.

10. Disclaimer and liability

PLATE³ is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, PLATE³ does not warrant that the service will always be uninterrupted, completely accurate or free from defects. Restaurants remain responsible for the accuracy and legality of their own submitted content and external ordering links.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted by applicable law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service as the PLATE³ service changes. The latest version will be posted on this page with its effective date. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms to the extent permitted by law.

12. Governing law

These terms are intended to be interpreted under the laws applicable in India, subject to any mandatory rights or protections that apply to you under applicable law.
